Céline Dion returns to the stage with Paris concert residency

Céline Dion has returned to the stage with a series of concerts at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, near Paris. This residency marks her return to performing full shows after more than six years of absence due to the pandemic and her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome, a rare autoimmune neurological disorder.

The concert series, which began on September 12, has seen significant demand. Originally scheduled for ten dates, the residency has expanded to 26 shows spanning through October of this year and into May 2027. During the opening performance, Dion was visibly emotional, thanking the audience for their patience.

Several Brazilian celebrities, including Sabrina Sato, Luiza Possi, and Adriana Lima, traveled to Paris to attend the performances. Sato attended during Paris Fashion Week, while Possi described the experience as a dream come true. Lima, who has followed Dion's career for years, noted it was her first time seeing the singer perform live.
