Céline Dion sets revenue record with Paris concert residency
Céline Dion has established a new industry record for average revenue per performance during a concert season in a single venue. According to data from Billboard Boxscore, the Canadian singer earned 125.5 million USD from 16 shows held at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, near Paris, between September 12 and October 17.
With an average of 7.8 million USD per show, Dion surpassed the record previously held by U2, whose residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas averaged approximately 6.1 million USD per performance. The residency saw approximately 539,000 tickets sold, averaging about 33,700 attendees per night.
This successful run marks a significant professional comeback for Dion following a six year absence from major concert sequences due to health challenges. Ten additional concerts are currently scheduled at the Plenitude Arena for May 2027.
