Céline Dion falls on stage during Paris comeback concert

During her comeback concert residency at the Plenitude Arena near Paris, Canadian singer Céline Dion experienced two notable onstage incidents on Wednesday, October 7. While performing the song ‘Dans un autre monde’, Dion lost her balance and fell to the stage floor, reportedly after her flared pants became caught under her heel. She recovered quickly, signaling to the audience with a thumbs-up before continuing her performance.

Later in the set, while singing ‘Pour que tu m’aimes encore’, Dion became visibly emotional and momentarily forgot the lyrics. The audience responded by singing the lines aloud to support her.

The incidents have drawn attention to Dion’s ongoing battle with Stiff-Person Syndrome, a rare neurological autoimmune disorder she publicly disclosed in 2022. The condition causes muscle stiffness and spasms, which have previously impacted her ability to perform. This concert series marks her return to large-scale live performances following a six-year hiatus caused by her health challenges.
