Céline Géraud joins Gabriel Attal’s 2027 campaign team

Céline Géraud, a former world vice-champion in judo and well-known television presenter, has joined Gabriel Attal’s campaign team for the 2027 presidential election. Géraud will serve as one of Attal’s six spokespersons and will also be responsible for his communication strategy.

Attal, the former Prime Minister and candidate for the Renaissance party, has selected a diverse group of spokespersons to represent a renewal of the central political bloc. The team includes individuals from various professional backgrounds, such as police officer Abdoulaye Kanté, lawyer Rachel-Flore Pardo, deputy Violette Spillebout, mayor Jean-Charles Orsucci, and Renaissance official Jad Zahab.

Géraud’s career includes roles at France Télévisions, TF1, RMC, and Europe 1. Her move into politics is part of Attal’s strategy to incorporate talent from civil society as he competes for leadership within the macronist camp.
