Clinic for Children's Diseases Zagreb releases educational book

The Clinic for Children's Diseases Zagreb, commonly known as Klaićeva hospital, has introduced a new educational picture book titled ‘Mamut Jura i čudo u Klaićevoj’ (Mamut Jura and the Miracle in Klaićeva). The book features Mamut Jura, the hospital's long-standing mascot, who has received a modernized visual identity for the institution's 75th anniversary.

Designed to help young patients navigate the anxieties of medical procedures and hospital stays, the book uses themes of courage, friendship, and hope to present the hospital as a safe and supportive environment. The project was written by actor and author Zoran Pribičević, with visual design by Marko Šesnić. Professor Iva Hojsak, director of the clinic, emphasized that the initiative aims to communicate medical experiences in a language children can understand to make their stay less intimidating.
