Clinical Hospital Štip launches multidisciplinary breast clinic

Health Minister Sašo Klekovski visited the Clinical Hospital in Štip to inspect new medical services, including a new laboratory and a multidisciplinary breast clinic. The initiative comes during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, addressing a significant health issue where nearly 1,000 women in the region are diagnosed annually.

Vladko Zaharijev, Director of the Clinical Hospital Štip, stated that the multidisciplinary clinic was established to provide faster and more efficient examinations and diagnoses for patients with breast pathologies. The clinic features a team of specialists, including radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists, with plans to expand the team to include psychiatrists and psychologists to provide comprehensive care.
