Clint Capela prepares for 13th NBA season

NBA player Clint Capela is preparing to begin his 13th professional season with the Houston Rockets. The 32-year-old center, originally from Geneva, expressed deep gratitude for his longevity in the league, noting that the average NBA career lasts only four to five years.

Capela reflected on his journey from Switzerland and France to the United States, citing his upbringing in boarding schools and his family history as factors that fostered his early maturity and autonomy. He described his current success as a ‘bonus’ to a life that began long before he was drafted in 2014.
