Clint Eastwood recalls near-accident on ‘Blood Work’ set

Clint Eastwood has recalled a near-fatal incident that occurred on the set of his 2002 thriller, ‘Blood Work’. While filming a driving scene alongside actor Jeff Daniels, Eastwood noticed a potential danger that Daniels had not seen.

Eastwood stated that he ‘just turned the steering wheel’ slightly, a quick reaction that prevented a traffic accident. The actor and director noted that driving scenes involving cameras attached to vehicles are always tense. He also recalled a separate incident during the filming of ‘Dirty Harry’ where a vehicle platform accidentally struck a pedestrian, though no serious injuries were reported.
