Local legends associated with Clinton Road include the ‘Ghost Boy’ of a nearby bridge, the treacherous ‘Dead Man’s Curve,’ unexplained phantom lights in the woods, and sightings of the mythical Jersey Devil.

Despite the notoriety of Clinton Road, the same research places New Jersey near the bottom of US states for overall ghost sighting probability. The state ranks 47th in the nation, with a calculated probability of seeing a ghost at approximately 1.30%, or odds of 1 in 7,592.
