Clive Davis honored by music industry icons at New York funeral

Dozens of prominent figures from the entertainment industry gathered at New York’s Central Synagogue on June 29 to honor the life of music mogul Clive Davis, who passed away at the age of 94.

The 90-minute service featured a high-profile assembly of musicians, executives, and political figures. Notable attendees seated near Davis’ family included Bruce Springsteen, Barry Manilow, Usher, Dionne Warwick, Alicia Keys, and Stevie Wonder. Other distinguished guests included Netflix executive Ted Sarandos, actor Adrien Brody, and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

During the service, songwriter Diane Warren offered lighthearted remarks regarding Davis’ legendary reputation for long-running pre-Grammy galas and his penchant for highlighting the achievements of others.
