Netflix casts Clive Owen and Anya Taylor-Joy in ‘How to Kill Your Family’
Netflix has finalized the main cast for its upcoming eight-episode dark comedy-thriller series, ‘How to Kill Your Family’, based on the bestselling novel by Bella Mackie. Anya Taylor-Joy will star as Grace Bernard, a woman seeking revenge against her wealthy, estranged family, and will also serve as an executive producer.
Oscar-nominated actor Clive Owen has joined the ensemble in the role of Simon Artemis, Grace’s ruthless billionaire father. The cast is further rounded out by Orlando Norman and David Shields. The production, led by Sid Gentle, is expected to begin filming in London this autumn, with additional filming scheduled in Spain.
The project follows a period of legal resolution after a copyright dispute involving Studiocanal and Bella Mackie was settled last year. The series is being adapted for television by Emma Moran.
