Clínica dos Bichinhos returns to Coimbra for pet care education

The Clínica dos Bichinhos initiative is returning to Alma Shopping in Coimbra from October 5 to 11. This program offers free activities for children aged 4 to 10 to raise awareness about pet health and well-being.

During the simulation, children use stuffed animals to navigate a mock veterinary clinic, including stages such as triage, examinations, treatments, and surgery. The event is supported by veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing students from Escola Universitária Vasco da Gama and Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra. The initiative is a partnership between the Coimbra Municipal Veterinary Medical Service and the aforementioned educational institutions.
