Clockwork Revolution set for 2027 Xbox exclusive with time‑travel RPG gameplay

During the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, inXile Entertainment announced Clockwork Revolution, a first‑person action RPG that will launch in 2027 exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.

The title is set in the steampunk metropolis Avalon, where players control a customizable protagonist, Morgan Vanette, using a Chronometer device to travel between past and present. Choices made through time‑travel mechanics reshape the city’s districts, affect allies such as the Rotten Row Hooligans, and determine the outcome against the antagonist Lady Ironwood, who also manipulates time to maintain power.

Key gameplay features highlighted include the Displace ability to reposition objects, dynamic combat with firearms and gadgets, and a narrative that reacts to player decisions.
