Close Your Eyes to release fourth mini-album ‘256th Note’ on June 30

K-pop group Close Your Eyes is set to release their fourth mini-album, ‘256th Note’, on June 30 at 6:00 PM. The album is inspired by the improvisational nature of jazz and explores fleeting emotions through various genres, including hip-hop, R&B, pop, and bossa nova.

The title track, ‘Drop That!’, reinterprets Yoon Si-nae’s jazz funk classic ‘Enjoy This Night’ into a 90s street hip-hop style, featuring intense string lines and upright bass. The album includes seven tracks, with several members participating in songwriting. Notably, all seven members contributed lyrics to the closing track, ‘Eternity’, dedicated to their fans.

Ahead of the release, the group held a cinema session at CGV Yeongdeungpo in Seoul to celebrate the release of their interlude film, ‘Open Your Eyes’. During the event, members shared behind-the-scenes stories regarding their first collective acting attempt and interacted with fans.
