Cloud 9 Fiji floating bar remains a popular tropical destination

Cloud 9, a two-storey floating bar and party pontoon located 45 minutes from the Fijian mainland, continues to be a major destination for visitors. Established in 2013 by Australian surfer and DJ Barel Wachtel and Fijian entrepreneur Tony Philp, the offshore venue offers swimming, sunbathing, and dancing.

The venue is part of an increasing number of offshore floating bars and party pontoons in Fiji. Travelers often access the site via private sea taxis from locations such as Port Denarau, with some using watercraft to transit directly to marinas near airports.
