Cloud Gate and CaixaForum present new cultural immersive experiences

The Cloud Gate Dance Theatre presents ‘Sounding Light’, a performance choreographed by Cheng Tsung-lung. The work incorporates percussive elements such as finger snaps, handclaps, and body percussion, alongside a live score by Lim Giong. The choreography draws inspiration from Taiwanese forests, utilizing Taiwanese spoken syllables to create unique timbres and recreating atmospheric phenomena like rain, wind, and flowing water.

In Spain, the immersive audiovisual experience ‘Somos naturaleza’ is hosted at Madrid’s CaixaForum through March 2027. Produced by OASIS Immersive Studios in collaboration with the National Geographic Society, the 70-minute exhibition focuses on the collective responsibility of biodiversity conservation. The installation uses projections and surround sound to depict various natural environments within the repurposed power station.
