Cloud ten's dedicated theater opens in Odaiba, Tokyo

The male idol project Cloud ten, produced by Yasushi Akimoto, opened its own theater on the 6th floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba on 2 August. The venue, built in partnership with Mitsui Fudosan and Tokyo Dome, seats about 300 people in a C‑shaped arrangement that places the audience within a metre of the stage.

The theater’s debut featured public rehearsals on 31 July and 1 August, with the 30‑member group split into three performance units. Setlists included songs such as “We’re Cloud ten,” “君は君だ,” and “次に会える日まで,” followed by an encore of “Eyes on me!!,” “Shake＆Dance,” and “Colors of us.” Members highlighted the intimacy of the space, noting that the close proximity enhances fan connection and creates a “home‑like” atmosphere.

While the state‑of‑the‑art facilities have been praised, the Odaiba location may pose a challenge for accessibility compared with other idol groups that operate in more central districts.
