Cloudera partners with VAST Data to launch unified AI data platform

Cloudera announced a strategic partnership with VAST Data to offer a unified AI data platform that combines Cloudera’s next‑generation lakehouse data services with VAST’s AI operating system. Built on the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design, the solution aims to eliminate GPU under‑utilisation by continuously feeding high‑throughput, low‑latency data throughout the AI lifecycle, from ingestion and preparation to model training, inference and analytics. The platform is available for on‑premises deployments and public‑cloud environments, helping enterprises accelerate the adoption of generative and agentic AI while meeting performance, compliance and cost requirements.
