Cloudflare launches AI agent browser and enterprise workspace

Cloudflare has introduced several new technologies aimed at the growing ecosystem of AI agents and automated web traffic. The company launched Cloudflare OS, an open-source, browser-based workspace designed to allow employees and organizations to build and deploy secure AI agents that interact with internal data and tools.

To facilitate machine-to-machine interaction, Cloudflare released Kitesurf, a stateless, cloud-hosted browser built specifically for AI agents rather than humans. Kitesurf is designed to be highly efficient, using significantly less CPU and memory than Chromium. Additionally, the company introduced Cloudflare Wallets and cloudflare.pay, which provide agents with stablecoin-based identities and the ability to make authorized payments for services.

Addressing the needs of marketers, Cloudflare also expanded its Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) suite with a new Visibility Dashboard. This tool allows brands to track how often they are mentioned or recommended by AI assistants, providing transparency in an era where AI-generated answers are increasingly replacing traditional search engine results.
