Cloudflare reports AI bots now drive majority of website traffic
Cloudflare’s CEO Matthew Prince announced that traffic generated by artificial‑intelligence bots has overtaken human visitors on websites. According to Cloudflare Radar, AI‑bot traffic has held steady above 50 % since late May and reached 57.3 % on 5 June, exceeding the company’s earlier forecasts that this shift would not occur until 2027. Prince noted this is the first time in internet history that automated AI agents generate more visits than people.
In a separate German blog, an author described building a personal AI workflow for a smart‑home environment using Claude, Home Assistant and virtual machines. The setup automates routine tasks, improves software development productivity and reduces daily screen time, illustrating how AI tools are being integrated into everyday home automation.
Both pieces highlight the expanding role of AI, from large‑scale internet traffic to individual household applications.
