Cloudforce to double Maryland headquarters and add 250 jobs

AI platform company Cloudforce is expanding its headquarters at National Harbor in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The expansion involves leasing an additional 15,000 square feet of office space, which will effectively double the company’s current footprint.

Over the next five years, the company expects to add 250 new jobs while retaining more than 130 existing employees. Cloudforce, which transitioned from a Microsoft cloud specialist to a frontier AI platform business, cited Maryland’s technical workforce and access to universities as primary reasons for choosing to grow in the state rather than elsewhere in the D.C. region.

The expansion is supported by public incentives, including a $1.25 million conditional loan through the state’s Advantage Maryland program and a $125,000 conditional loan from the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation. The company’s flagship product, nebulaONE®, provides secure AI access and automated workflows for higher education and public-sector clients.
