CloudHQ increases Querétaro data center investment to $6 billion

CloudHQ has announced an increase in its investment for a data center campus in Querétaro, Mexico. The company is raising its planned financing from 4.8 billion dollars to nearly 6 billion dollars.

The project consists of a campus featuring six data centers spanning 52 hectares. Alongside the financial increase, CloudHQ is significantly expanding the project's energy capacity, raising it from 250 megawatts (MW) to nearly 1,000 MW. The company stated that the additional energy capacity will be fully funded by CloudHQ to ensure sufficient transmission for its services.
