Andorra tourism sector anticipates winter recovery

The tourist apartment sector in Andorra is expressing optimism regarding winter reservations, despite a summer season that fell below expectations. While the summer period was described as sluggish—particularly during the months of May and June—the industry is looking toward the upcoming snow season to recover annual performance.

Àlex Ruiz, president of the Associació d’Empreses d’Allotjament Turístic d’Andorra, noted that while July and August saw a partial recovery, they were insufficient to compensate for the slow start to the year. Approximately 90% to 92% of associates reported summer results below those of the previous year. However, current advanced reservations for the winter season are already significantly higher than those recorded at the same time in 2025.
