CLOVER HADO team reaches crowdfunding goal in Kumamoto

The HADO-certified team ‘CLOVER’, based in Kumamoto, Japan, has reached 100% of its crowdfunding goal within ten days. The project, aimed at supporting junior players in augmented reality (AR) sports, seeks to create an environment where local children can compete on national and international stages despite being in a regional area.

CLOVER consists of elementary and junior high school students who have previously won national junior tournaments. The team aims to compete in the ‘Grand Prix Final’ in Japan and subsequently participate in international competitions. To foster regional exchange, the team is organizing an event in September to welcome junior players from Osaka and Odaiba to Kumamoto.

In November 2026, the ‘VIRTUAL SPORTS FESTIVAL’ will be held in Shanghai, China. This event will feature the ‘HADO WORLD CUP 2026’ and the inaugural ‘HADO INTERNATIONAL CAMPUS CHAMPIONSHIP’, a 3-on-3 tournament specifically for players aged 16 and under.
