Călărași hosts ‘Toamna de Aur’ autumn harvest festival

The ‘Toamna de Aur’ (Golden Autumn) festival was held in the center of Călărași, where local villages showcased seasonal harvests and traditional products through specialized decorations and arrangements.

Nicolae Draganel, president of the Călărași district, described the event as a celebration of friendship and the people who cultivate the harvest. Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu also attended, noting the importance of the season for gathering results and expressing hopes for rain and peace.

During the festivities, several officials from Iași and Călărași, Romania, were awarded the title of ‘Honorary Citizen of Călărași District’. The event included international guests from Hungary, Bulgaria, and France.
