Club América completes signing of Colombian winger Óscar Perea

Club América announced the acquisition of 20‑year‑old Colombian winger Óscar Perea on a season‑long loan from French Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg, with an option to purchase.

The transfer aims to provide the team with additional width and offensive firepower ahead of the Apertura 2026 tournament. Perea previously spent a loan spell in Portugal with AVS Futebol, appearing in 26 matches, scoring two goals and delivering one assist.

Strasbourg originally invested roughly €5.2 million to acquire Perea from Atlético Nacional. América’s technical staff expect the player to compete for a starting role alongside Brian Rodríguez as the club strengthens its attack.
