Club América considers permanent signing of Raphael Veiga
Club América is reportedly considering a permanent transfer for Brazilian midfielder Raphael Veiga following his successful adaptation to Mexican football. Veiga is currently on loan from Palmeiras until the end of 2026.
After a quiet start to his tenure in Mexico, Veiga has become a key figure under manager Guillermo Almada. In the current season, he has recorded two goals and five assists in seven matches.
According to reports from Marca, Club América would need to pay approximately $7.5 million (roughly R$ 38 million) to exercise the purchase option at the end of his loan period. While Veiga has a contract with Palmeiras extending until December 2028, the Mexican club holds a contractual option to acquire his rights permanently.
