Club América eyes swap for Alan Bautista, while Federico Viñas opts for Europe

Club América, under new coach Guillermo Almada, is exploring a player exchange that could send veteran midfielder Rodrigo Dourado to León as part of a deal to acquire forward Alan Bautista. Bautista is valued at about $4 million, and including Dourado could lower the fee by roughly $1 million.

Almada also wants striker Federico Viñas back, but the Uruguayan appears set to remain in Europe after his loan with Real Oviedo. Viñas has two reported offers and a contract with León that runs through December 2027. A final decision is expected after the 2026 World Cup.
