Club América’s mid‑week clash with Atlante set for July 24 amid schedule shift

Club América will meet recently promoted Atlante on Friday, 24 July, at 20:00 local time in Mexico City. The match, part of Liga MX’s Apertura 2026 second round, has been moved to a mid‑week slot.

The adjustment follows the early scheduling of two other fixtures – Toluca vs. Pumas and Cruz Azul vs. Puebla – which were advanced because those clubs will travel to the United States to contest the Campeón de Campeones. Club América is not participating in that tournament, but the league’s calendar had to accommodate the competing teams, resulting in the reshuffled timetable for América’s second‑round game.
