Club Arco Trasno hosts inaugural Bowhunter competition in Tomiño

The Club Arco Trasno organized the first I Bowhunter Arco Trasno 2026 competition, an official event on the IFAA Spain calendar, at the permanent A Salgosa archery circuit in Tomiño, Galicia. The competition, run under the IFAA Bowhunter Standard rules, featured a 28‑target course with distances up to 54 m. Nine federated archers and six beginners from the club’s initiation school took part.

Adrián Millán Figueroa achieved the highest overall score, 354 points, to win the Adult Male Bowhunter Compound category. Other category winners included Carmen Figueroa Salgueiro, Manuel Mata Castro, Julio Luis Sande Vázquez, Anxo Pereira Fernández and Anita Ribeiro. The day began with a shared breakfast and ended with the club’s traditional communal meal, underscoring the event’s focus on camaraderie, respect and friendship as the club seeks to make Tomiño a leading archery hub in Galicia.
