Club Atlético 9 de Julio clinches rugby win and basketball triumphs on May 30

On Saturday, May 30, Club Atlético 9 de Julio hosted a busy sports day. In rugby, the home side defeated Yaguá Pitá Rugby Club 27‑10 in the fifth round of the Unión de Rugby del Oeste de Buenos Aires (UROBA) Development Tournament, reinforcing its strong position in the competition. The club also participated in the UROBA Super 8 tournament, recording a 76‑22 victory in the M14 category and a close 29‑22 loss in M16.

The same day the club’s gym saw a double basketball session. Atlético beat Club Roque Pérez in three matches, winning 56‑45 in the mini‑basket, 79‑15 in the infantile division, and a dominant 100‑24 in the junior category. Later, women's teams from Atlético faced Club Porteño, securing a 39‑36 win in the cadet division and a 42‑21 victory in the junior division.
