Club Atlético Celaya faces sanctions for pyrotechnics and alcohol violations

Club Atlético Celaya faces potential municipal sanctions following the use of prohibited pyrotechnics during a recent uniform presentation at the Miguel Alemán Valdés stadium. Mayor Juan Miguel Ramírez confirmed that the club has violated local bans on pyrotechnics on two separate occasions and stated that the administration will issue fines.

In addition to the pyrotechnics violation, the Direction of Fiscalization identified irregularities regarding the unauthorized sale of alcoholic beverages during the event. This could result in additional fines ranging from 11,731 to 35,193 pesos. A formal hearing between the club's management and municipal authorities is scheduled for September 9 to determine the final penalties.
