Club Atlético Colón appoints Iván Delfino as head coach

Club Atlético Colón announced the return of Iván Delfino as the first‑team coach, replacing Ezequiel Medrán. Technical secretary Diego Colotto said Delfino was the “ideal profile” to lead the project and that the club aims to strengthen the squad in the final stage of the tournament to fight for promotion to the Primera División.

Delfino conducted his first training session on Tuesday and held a press conference, expressing confidence that the team has the tools to succeed. He highlighted the appointment of former player Paolo Goltz as his assistant and noted the possibility of adding another player if a roster spot becomes available. The club emphasized a clean, orderly transition and called on supporters to back the new coaching staff.
