Club Atlético Güemes staff and players report unpaid salaries

Players and staff of the Argentine football club Club Atlético Güemes have issued a formal statement expressing concern over unpaid salaries dating back to May. The professional squad and staff noted that while they understand the debt originated during the previous administration, the situation has become ‘very difficult to sustain’ due to the financial responsibilities of their families.

Despite the lack of payment, the group stated they chose to continue training to maintain their professional development rather than interrupting practices. They have called on club authorities to take necessary measures to regularize the outstanding wages and expressed hope for a short-term resolution.
