Club Atlético Mitre president Luis Miguel resigns

Luis Miguel has submitted his irrevocable resignation as president of Club Atlético Mitre, along with other members of the Board of Directors. The announcement was made during a Board meeting, which was subsequently placed on a temporary recess.

In response to the resignations, the club issued an official statement to reassure members and fans, asserting that the departures are due to “personal and functional decisions” and do not signify an institutional crisis. The leadership emphasized that the club’s normal operations and activities will continue without threat.

To ensure continuity, the club will fill the vacancies immediately following the established hierarchical order and social statutes. Lucas Serafini, the current vice president, is expected to be formalized as the new president to lead the institution during its current campaign in the Primera Nacional.
