Club Atlético Paso to face CD Numancia in league opener

Club Atlético Paso is set to begin its 2026/2027 Segunda Federación campaign with a home match against CD Numancia at the Estadio Municipal in El Paso. The club, based in La Palma, has undergone significant changes following a pre-season focused on integrating numerous new players while attempting to maintain the team dynamic from the previous season.

Coach Maxi Barrera described the pre-season as “dura, pero necesaria” (hard, but necessary) and emphasized the need to approach the division with realism given the high level of competition. The match marks a significant challenge for the club as they face a historic opponent in Group 5 of the league.
