Club Bizzozero donates emergency medical vehicle to Varese Red Cross
Club Bizzozero has donated a new, fully equipped emergency medical vehicle to the Italian Red Cross (Croce Rossa Italiana) committee in Varese. The vehicle, valued at approximately 40,000 euros, is outfitted with specialized equipment, including a semi-automatic defibrillator and advanced medical instruments, designed to provide aid in difficult-to-reach locations.
The donation was officially presented during a ceremony following the club’s Ferragosto festival. Club President Stefano Frattini noted that the contribution is part of a long-standing philanthropic program. Between 2011 and 2026, the club has donated approximately 195,000 euros specifically to the healthcare sector, supporting local hospitals and the Red Cross, while total community donations have exceeded 300,000 euros.
The funds are generated through the efforts of approximately 150 volunteers who manage the club’s large-scale gastronomic events, which serve around 15,000 people annually.
