Club Bolívar stadium construction reaches 52% completion
Club Bolívar has announced that its new stadium in the Tembladerani area of La Paz is expected to be completed by late July 2027. During a technical inspection, project officials reported that civil construction has reached a 52% completion rate.
Mauricio Maldonado, Infrastructure Manager at the construction firm Incotec, stated that complex foundational work, including the installation of approximately 850 piles, has been completed. Progress is expected to accelerate once the main beams are installed and the prefabricated upper stands are assembled on-site.
The project, driven by club president Marcelo Claure, has faced delays due to national economic conflicts and rising material costs, which have impacted the original budget. Additionally, logistical challenges have arisen in the southern sector due to the need for negotiations with local neighborhood associations to ensure construction safety and access.
