Club Brugge duo suffer 5-1 defeat with Switzerland U21

Club Brugge players Andrej Vasovic and Cheveyo Tsawa suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat with the Switzerland U21 national team against Iceland in Reykjavik.

Vasovic, an 18-year-old striker, was substituted at halftime during the match. Tsawa played the full duration but was unable to prevent the loss. Following this result, Switzerland's path to the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Albania and Serbia will now require them to navigate the play-offs. The team is scheduled to face France in their final match of the campaign.
