Club Brugge signs Jan Virgili and nears deal for Romain Esse

Club Brugge has officially announced the signing of Spanish winger Jan Virgili from RCD Mallorca. The 20-year-old attacker, who has represented Spain at the U-21 level, has signed a contract with the Belgian club through 2031.

In addition to the Virgili signing, the club is nearing a deal to acquire Romain Esse from Crystal Palace. Negotiations for the 21-year-old winger are reportedly advanced, with a transfer fee estimated at approximately €12 million, including a sell-on percentage. Esse is expected to sign a contract until June 2030, pending medical examinations.

Club Brugge manager Ivan Leko has also expressed high praise for defender Joaquin Seys, noting the player's potential to reach the highest levels of European football following his performances against top-tier talent.
