Club Brugge reshapes squad as Jesse Bisiwu joins Barcelona and pursues Edmund Baidoo

Belgian teenager Jesse Bisiwu has completed a move from Club Brugge to FC Barcelona, signing a contract that runs until June 2031. In his first interview as a Barcelona player, Bisiwu praised the warm welcome from the club and coach Hansi Flick, saying he will work hard wherever he is needed.

Club Brugge, after losing Bisiwu and fellow youngster Yanis Musuayi to Levante and seeing Raphael Onyedika transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt, feels strengthened and is actively seeking replacements. The club has placed a third €12 million bid for Red Bull Salzburg forward Edmund Baidoo, who has expressed a strong desire to join the Belgian side. Additional targets mentioned include defender Han‑beom Lee and midfielder Freddie Potts.
