Club de Leones Durazno Siglo XXI hosts community book exchange

The Club de Leones Durazno Siglo XXI recently organized a book exchange event in front of La Buhardilla to mark the change of season. The initiative encourages community members to bring books and select new ones to read, fostering local interest in literacy.

According to Virginia Tierno, the event saw a sustained community response, with children participating by choosing books to be read to them while older children read independently. The collection includes a variety of genres such as novels, encyclopedias, mysteries, and children's literature, sourced from donations and previous exchanges.
