Club de Montaña Nabaín climbs Aneto in the Pyrenees

Members of the Club de Montaña Nabaín successfully ascended Aneto, the highest peak in the Pyrenees, as part of the ‘Un verano a tresmil metros’ program. The expedition was conducted in collaboration with Juventud Pelaire under the ‘Tresmiles Jóvenes 2026’ initiative.

On August 26, six participants began their ascent from the Puente de Coronas at an altitude of 1,930 meters. The route followed the southern slope from Vallibierna, covering approximately 12 kilometers with a vertical gain of over 1,450 meters. The group navigated through the Coronas valley, passing the Ibonet and Coronas lakes, eventually reaching the Collada de Coronas via a large glacial moraine.
