Club Med Bintan unveils major family-focused resort transformation

Club Med has completed a major phase of its transformation at the Bintan Island resort, focusing on upscale amenities and family-oriented experiences. The renovation follows a 47% year-on-year increase in sales from the Pacific market in 2026.

Key upgrades include redesigned superior, deluxe, and suite accommodations featuring Indonesian-inspired textures, as well as new deluxe themed rooms. Family-focused additions include a new Splash Pad and the Amazing Family! Hub, a 300-square-metre indoor space featuring play areas and interactive games. The resort also introduced the Epic Explorer Trail, a self-guided activity for families.

Dining enhancements include the refreshed Panorama Barista Bar and the Terrace Gourmet Club, with a new Grill Gourmet Club planned. The resort offers over 20 sports and activities, including padel, pickleball, and flying trapeze. Sustainability efforts integrated into the project include the elimination of single-use plastics, a food waste reduction system, and an on-site turtle conservation program. Further enhancements are scheduled through 2027.
