Club Puebla manager to continue squad rotations against San Diego FC
Club Puebla manager Gerardo Espinoza has confirmed he will continue to rotate his starting lineup for the team's final Leagues Cup group stage match against San Diego FC. Despite the lack of positive results from these rotations, Espinoza stated the decision is necessary to manage player fatigue and prevent injuries due to a dense match schedule.
Espinoza noted that the upcoming match serves as an opportunity to evaluate players in official competition rather than training. He also commented on the physical differences between the competition, suggesting that MLS teams possess a different rhythm and superior facilities compared to Mexican clubs.
Regarding player availability, Ignacio Maestro Puch and Eduardo Navarro remain sidelined due to ongoing injuries. Although Club Puebla has been eliminated from further progression in the tournament, the team aims to perform well against a competitive San Diego FC side.
