Club Sarmiento advances construction of new raffa volo court

Club Sarmiento in Concepción del Uruguay is moving forward with the construction of a new raffa volo court to support the development of bocce. The project aims to provide training and competition facilities that match the high athletic level achieved by the club’s players, who recently became Argentine club champions.

The municipal government has provided financial support for the project. Milagros Pereyra, a player who recently competed in the World Cup with the Argentine national team, noted that while the national team has performed competitively against global powers, they have faced significant infrastructure limitations for training. She stated that the new facilities would mark a turning point for the sport at the local, provincial, and national levels.

Club President Néstor Cergneux emphasized the discipline and sacrifice required to maintain the institution's current sporting success.
