Club Tijuana to face Santos Laguna in Liga MX matchup

Club Tijuana is set to host Santos Laguna at Estadio Caliente on Monday, October 26, 2026, in a Liga MX fixture. Both teams are seeking to improve their standings in the league table.

Club Tijuana currently sits in 10th place with 17 points from 12 matches, having scored 17 goals and conceded 16. The team has recently experienced several draws, including a 2-2 result against Deportivo Toluca. Under coach Sebastián Abreu, Tijuana is expected to rely on their strong home form and offensive dynamics.

Santos Laguna occupies 11th place with 19 points from 13 matches, with 19 goals scored and 16 conceded. Managed by Renato Paiva, the Torreón-based club is known for a fluid, attacking style of play. However, concerns remain regarding the team's energy levels due to a dense match schedule and the significant travel distance to Tijuana.
