Club Unión de Miguel Riglos installs new LED lighting

Club Unión de Miguel Riglos has inaugurated new LED lighting at its main field, the Adolfo Suárez Stadium. The project was funded by an investment of $23,946,924.66 from the Government of La Pampa as part of the third stage of the Efficient Lighting Plan for Sports Spaces.

The upgrade involved replacing existing fixtures with LED technology and adapting the electrical system to modernize the stadium's infrastructure, improve lighting conditions, and optimize energy consumption. By implementing these technologies, the club joins the ‘Liga de la Eficiencia’ (Efficiency League), a group of sports institutions in La Pampa adopting efficient technologies to strengthen their facilities.

The new lighting system will be used for the first time during the ‘Emanuel Leguizamón de la Fuente’ Provincial Football Tournament. Local officials noted that the work will allow for extended hours of use and expanded sporting and community activities at the club.
