Club Unión y Fuerza faces infrastructure crisis ahead of centenary

Club Unión y Fuerza in Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña is facing a severe infrastructure crisis as it approaches its centenary. The club’s facilities have been inactive for nearly two years following the suspension of a covered stadium construction project in late 2023.

This stoppage has halted community activities, including basketball training for over 100 children, taekwondo, gymnastics for seniors, and other sports. To continue competing, the institution's basketball teams are currently forced to rent external facilities. Historically recognized as a major basketball entity in Chaco, the club previously competed in the Liga Nacional de Básquet.
