Clube do Remo celebrates 115 years since institutional reorganization

Clube do Remo is celebrating the 115th anniversary of its reorganization, a pivotal event that occurred on August 15, 1911. This historical moment saw the transition of the entity from the ‘Grupo do Remo’ to the formal club structure that exists today.

The reorganization was led by eleven members who united to ensure the institution's continuity. These individuals include Oscar Saltão, Antonico Silva, Geraldo Mota (Rubilar), Jaime Lima, Cândido Jucá, Harley Collet, Nertan Collet, Severino Poggy, Mário Araújo, Palmério Pinto, and Elzeman Magalhães.

The club described the event as a permanent milestone in its history, establishing the foundations for what is now known as the ‘Rei da Amazônia’ (King of the Amazon).
